Marie Oliver was founded by North Carolina native Sarah Doggett Evenson. She started the brand with her husband Peter. Marie Oliver has become known for its vivid hues, custom prints, fine fabrics, and flattering silhouettes, all inspired by their passion for travel and design. Marie Oliver, a combination of Sarah's middle name Marie, and Peter's middle name, Oliver is now embraced nationally for its vibrant color and patterns.
They have expanded since 2015 from several core styles that remain signature to the brand, to versatile pieces that fulfill a wardrobe year-round. They are proudly based in Greensboro, North Carolina where they are able to draw their inspiration from the South’s distinct cultural traditions.
